Cinderella's carriage

While we were driving down the McKenzie highway last weekend we passed through the small town of Leaburg.  Parked on the side of the highway was a very beautiful site…Cinderella’s carriage.  And I don’t mean a small replica, but a life size, true resemblance of the pumpkin carriage.

It was parked in front of River Run gallery.  They had several sculptures all on the property and some beautiful artwork, jewelry and smaller sculptures in the gallery.  Amazing work!  The carriage and several other larger sculptures were done by Ken Scott, a nationally recognized sculptor.  He has also made the sculptures at the sea lion caves, just north of Florence, OR.
The carriage was stunning and the details were unbelievable.  You can rent the carriage, too…how perfect would that be on your wedding day?

See I'm one of a list of Blogging Buddies now intending to follow you! Looks good on our blog sites, doesn't it, so I do hope you'll do the same for me. Love this post - and the design is one that my younger daughter uses for her blog interestingly. We must be going to get one well in that case!

My blog is at www.ColdhamCuddliescalling.blogspot.com and it's where I write about my stuffed animals and how I make, mend and otherwise mess about with them - while trying to also sell them at www.coldhamcuddlies.etsy.com. I'd love to see you at either or both sites. All comments are useful and always gratefully received. Cheers. Isobel
